LOOKING FOR AN EXECUTIVE FARM ASSISTANT

Overview: 

 

De La Mesa Farms is in search of a creative and resourceful Executive Assistant to work closely with our founder. The individual must possess a strong background in administrative assistance, bookkeeping, record keeping, social media management, and content creation. Experience with photography, videography, and graphic design is a plus. Prior experience with grant writing and management, as well as familiarity with AI tools, will be a significant advantage. Additionally, an aptitude for exceptional organization and a self-motivated approach is a must for this position.

 

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing farm business, playing a key role in establishing efficient procedures and laying the groundwork for future growth. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience in the aforementioned areas, with the capacity to lead and coordinate initiatives.

Job Requirements: 

 

Ability to work closely with the founder, providing assistance in a variety of admin and operational tasks as needed. Proven experience in operating and managing social media accounts, creating engaging content to effectively promote our products and ethos Proficiency in photo and video editing, and graphic design. Work directly with founder and management team to write and track grants. Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to optimize company operation. Demonstrate a willingness to continually learn, adapt, and grow a long-term career within the company. A commitment to providing excellent customer service, handling customer queries and concerns with utmost professionalism and empathy. 

 

Flexibility to support the company's evolving needs, including participation in farmers markets, manual labor, special events, etc. Commitment to following safety procedures, demonstrating the ability to work safely with precision tools and industrial equipment Capability to interact effectively with the general public, educating them about the benefits and uses of farm fresh produce. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A high level of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to closely follow directions and procedures. Ability to work effectively both in a team and alone with minimal supervision. 

 

Benefits: 

 

Starting at $21-23/hour for approximately 20 hours a week. Paid time off/sick leave. Strong focus on healthy employees - at work and home - and a positive work environment Although a group health plan is currently unavailable to our startup, the company is prioritizing group health plan benefits for our employees as soon as the company becomes eligible.
